Sport Chassis is the best way togo $$$$$$

After that an F550, we used one to pull our race boats.

Never had any problems.

I've had them all! An F350 Dually will do the work but you will know your towing something big. The Sport Chassis is the cats meow. I towed my 40 ft Fountain from Florida to California with it and ran 75 mph and forgot I had a boat behind me. But being a Ford fanatic I sold it and built an F650. Again towing and stopping is effortless for it but it's not as roomy or comfortable as the SC. I kinda miss my Sport Chassis. Anything less than a F650 or SC make sure it's a 4x4. The big trucks are so much heavier they have no problem on a slick ramp but the lighter trucks can have a serious problem. If you have the $$$$ go with the big trucks and you"ll never regreat it.

Was pulling my boat out in 2wd, stop on ramp, set ebrake, attach boat, walk on tongue have a weird sensation that in moving. ..and I was! Jumped on dock, hopped in truck threw the stick into 4 and save d my truck from bath. I know my dmax 2500 is not in the 650 league but the 4wd is something to weigh seriously on. Also if you are going to use the truck for anything else but towing a 3500/350 ride is supreme

^^Next time walk on the ramp! :D
You on the tongue lifted too much weight off the front wheels. :lolhit:

thanks for all the advice, I do want to stay with a 4x4 so I am thinking a F-450 will do a good job with my boat.
