As far as what the guy on the phone told me I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget it so I could post it for you all. I have no reason to make this **** up either. And no props are not my concern now!
All the help is very appreciative so thanks in advance!
Well, as part of your "retro 1999 package" they gave you drives built in 1989

Either we are being had or someone is very sick to their stomach right about now.

Not sure which. Thinking the had part. Wouldn't someone spending a nice amount of coin for a boat at least have an idea between a 89 and a 99? Not directed to the OP, but to a seller trying to pull it off thinking most shoppers won't know the difference. Pretty high risk of getting caught if you ask me

So it's a 33' Fountain? We are now farther down on power than we thought.
A dyno can exaggedate HP, but a hull never lies...

I hope this gets sorted out for the OP.

lol, well the 33 with platform and the 35 are the same boat. Fountain changed the name of them in the mid 90's to match the LOA with the platform.

But, speaking of power he should be able to run high 70's to near 80 with the 650 NA engines and that hull. He talked about going 100, and that will take some serious drives with some serious power in that hull. It can be done, my friend had a 33 that went 103, with 632 ci, ASD8 drop box drives

i would think over 80 with 650's in a 33/35 fountain I still want to see build specs for engines if that's the case

Trying to figure out why one of the "know it alls" likes this post, as he believes Fountain never stamped VIN's?
