Pat, you should have bought a ZL-1 or Z/28 for performance, with the Nurburgring and all... Then you would have performance, room for a couple sets of golf clubs, and room for another couple when dinnertime came. When I see a ZL-1 or Z/28, I stop and gawk (rarity factor), when I see a new Stingray I think "whoa, old guy with a big car payment".
The hopped up Camaros offer performance with a little more functionality than the 2 seater Vette....
Wait, that's mildly analogous of a "true" performance boat vs. a performance center console. My bad! As you were.

Or it's cause the ZR-1 is a under whelming car is lack luster and is blah to drive. I will give you the Z28 though.

Up here in the cold north, whenever I see an AT, I stop and take notice, but the one that piqued my interest the most was the used AT Performance Fish for sale a while back. I don't know if that was purely a rarity factor or because it suits my boating style, but it's long since sold and I still have every pic posted from the listing.

ZL-1 is a Camaro. Ya know, kinda like what you can rent but with more power to push the big ol' turd. Similar to 4 Verados on a 39 wide body CC.

Meaning? CCs are the future? I just picked up my new Vette when I could have bought a Yukon. True performance owners aren't in to it for the dock recognition. They like performance. On the backside I did buy a brand new Malibu Wakesetter so the boy could do his thing. Would it be my weekend ride? Not.

Yes I know.....it's called a miss spelled word....... You know that thing that happens from time to time.
Nice jab at my liking of a CC though.
Keep driving that mid-life crisis Vette. Seem very fitting of a guy who seems to be his manhood hood must be tied to a loud engine only.

No, CC's are in style now but the future is going to be jeopardized if the next generation doesn't inherit the go fast gene! Other hobbies are having the same problem, Harley Davidson can't attract new riders as fast as they are losing older riders, heck golf can't attract young people either! Playing a round of golf or buying a Harley is certainly cheaper than a performance boat!
I have had multiple blown Mustangs, currently own a twin engine Sonic, and have plans for more toys.......but when a CC runs the same speed as something like my Sonic, but cost half to maintain, And is easier to do most anything on.....where is the benefit of keeping around a boat like mine?
If your manhood is somehow tied only to the sound of your boat.....you have many other problems.
Maybe some youth is getting smarter that we can do the same for less these days and without half the headache.

Um, I thought the ZR-1 STILL wasn't getting released (again), just the Z06. Do you mean the ZL-1 is lackluster, or do you Florida guys know something us Detroit guys haven't seen yet?

No...I meant a ZL1 not a ZR1 (corvette). I do know the difference. That was a typo on my part.
When you see a AT you should stop and look, they are beautiful boats that run great. I am a fan of the boat.....the owner the other hand....well....

Me? Me? My manhood tied to the sound of my boat? Very funny, I will give you that.
