That's not a BBC balancer. Fords that are internally balanced, still will be counter-weighted on the balancer and flywheel.

This has caused many fits getting flywheels for motors - especially the small blocks when stroking. Once the info is known, the fit stops. LOL. Thus why I'm sharing this.

The 502 flywheel still has a counter-weight, the drilling is done about 180 degrees from cast-in weighted tab. The difference between a mark iv and a gen 5-6 is about 30-40 grams, which can vary between the gen 5-6 454 to the gen 5-6 502.

Yes, took from Scarab did oil pressure and headwork, dropped in Cig...\

Pulled a main bearing tonight looking over stuff with a buddy, he carbide cleared them too!

I am not sure yet, but looks like he ground them to me.... not sure why yet... this floors me

looks like carnage from when the bearing spun and just wiped all the bearings..what does the thrust bearing look like..?
