Very sad news for his family. Rest in peace Mike! Never met the man just admired his work. After almost losing a father to a motorcycle wreck a few years ago I can only imagine how exhausted and deeply heartbroken his family is.
Life is short, MAKE TIME for fun, laugh and show the ones you love how much you care.
Godspeed..... Thoughts and prayers sent

The world lost a great man today. Our hearts are broken. His passion and hard work have touched the lives of countless people in a exhilarating way. His boats were not only at the fore front of cutting edge technology but works of art. I am honored to have known him, I am honored to own one of his creations and I am mostly honored to have shared his friendship. Nancy and I offer our most sincere condolences to Shonda and the Fiore and Whipple families and to the employees of Outerlimits
Godspeed Mike......Godspeed

My deepest condolences to the Family, Friends and entire Outerlimits Team.
Mike was a great guy to talk to and be around. He always shook my hand and smiled when I said "hello". We ran close in Discovery bay and he was a class act. He will be missed, he did a lot for the sport and designed/built some of the nicest boats on the water today. RIP Mike
