Default Anyone know or remember this guy? MAXX

Check out the link! Among other things he was cutting and shortening b1's? Seems like he just kinda fell of the earth. I stalked his old threads and unless I missed something I don't see where they were ever tested. Does anyone have any knowledge of this fella and or cutting citing down bravo one? I would love to talk to him or here more about his work.

If I remember right, he figured out it was not worth the time and expense.

Yes, I saw that lower in swap shop. I fellow member said imco you to do the same thing to standard bravos in the early day's, I guess before they made there own casting. I'd like to know how they got everything lined up before welding back the two pieces back together. I know max used a jig from what I understand and read. Does anyone have any insight on this? What type of tolerance would need to be held as far as lining them back up perfectly for the safts?
