Ill be ordering the 8000 series. Now to see whether the 12" or 15" looks better. Which one is being ordered in most boats?

Most of all of our customers get the 15's if they fit. Cigarette and MTI both use the 15's also.

Most of the helms I've seen have 15" but I think the 12" are plenty big. 15" fills the space better but it just depends how you plan to layout your dash. Personally I'm into functional not fancy.

Keep in mind a couple of things. One for most of us age means poor vision. Bigger is easier to see. If you are using touch bigger means larger buttons and easier keystrokes. A plus on a high speed center console while standing and using equipment. Lastly with if you use the engine interface and will show engine data a bigger screen works better with multi engine boats.
Just my .02 cents.
These things are the same on every CC boat out there. We have outfitted all of them.

Ron- quit being logical, using your years of experience & electronics expertise to make the rest of us look bad b/c it's working.

Oh Yea, One last recommendation. Get the Garmin GRID option. It is a keypad you can mount on the dash to use in conjunction with the touch displays. Works on all 8000 series. Nice option for rough water when touch is hard to use.
Carry on!

I have the 8215, (2) 8512 and a 8508. They are incredible. If price isn't an issue the 8200 series are the way to go.

Great information. I'm leaning toward the 15" screens. Its only a couple of thousand more per screen.
