I put 55hrs on my boat this season. So my plan is to do everything I put off this summer so I could go boating.
1 Paint the Family room
2 Fix the tractor
3 Get the plow ready
4 Cut some firewood [no time to season just burn it green]

Boat will get all the fluids changed and tucked away till spring. No real plans for upgrades.I just wish someone tucked me away for winter [I hate winter].

I am planning to run and enjoy it! -
I lost the whole NJ summer due to blown engines/rebuilds and in a couple weeks will be able to run it again for the first time since Tickfaw in the beginning of May!
So technically all my winter upgrades were done this summer!

I plan on waxing it and putting the full cover on it, Hopefully when I get it out of inside storage in the spring it has grown about 6' in length.

Pull both motors, again
Upgrade coolers, lines with Hardin kit
Swap cams for 525 EFI cams
Install Holley Terminator EFI systems
Replace port side trim tab cable
Have rear bench recovered, vinyl pieces on gunwales recovered
Fix the speedometer
Fix the gas gauge

Crownline:
Yank wounded motor
Replace cracked block in 350 mag mpi I bought for it, finally make this boat turn key so I don't have to hear my wife b!tch about not being able to start it when cold.
Possibly convert to a bravo, already have the parts for this, motivation is the problem.

I don't know how much of this I will get done, but it will be fun to look back next May and realize how pathetic my execution is. Curious to hear what others have planned.
Well I am getting started. Pulled the Crownline out of the lake Saturday and got the disgusting bottom all cleaned up. Today the motor is on the floor from the Crownline. Waiting for my replacement block to come back so I can swap everything over from the MPI motor. I am hoping to have the motor back in the boat and running by the end of October so I can call that one done and get going on the Formula as soon as I pull it out of the water.

Gonna install a woodstove down forward so I can stay out in april/may and be comfortable. The rear bench will be a perfect place to stack the wood.

I believe a wood stove was an option for a 38 top gun. You should save yourself some time and just upgrade.

If you add a boiler you can have a good old fashion steam boat!
