TUrbines are great out on open water when set up right . But I would recomend an alternative power sourse around the docks such as a small out board or electric drive of some sort such as Arneson uses . Turbines are too much noise, heat ,and stink at the dock ....... ALso ,I would spend some time in one before buying it . I don't think they are for everyone .
