Nope, not at all. Just asking the question.
Gump cleaned up at the Oscars while Pulp just missed out which helped at the box office and certainly boosted Hanks' star appeal and salary. I like both movies but most Tarantino movies are a bit 'out there' which doesn't always help with broader appeal.
I don't think Pulp Fiction was a bad decision but if Travolta had gone with the more wholesome character of Gump, I wonder if his career would have steered in that direction, a bit more like Hanks......
