If it is a 43 footer...it cannot be Cig Rough Rider!!!! If it is a 43, the only go fast I can think of is a SCARAB.....we will probably find out down the line that it was some sort of 36 foot center console that had an outboard motor fall off....it must have been one hell of a rogue wave!!

This story has too many holes in it .. A 43 footer being chucked by a cruiser wake ??? Engine hatch ripped off ??? How do you get thrown from a 43 at 45 MPH ???
The corrected story is probably like this ..
Two men who were doing the rumba on the deck of their ciggarette type racing offshore broom broom ..Fell overboard while mixing martinis and singing show tunes ...

You saw the actual boat on the travel lift and it was a 46 rough rider?

I also noticed that the article stated that the speed limit in that area is 45 mph, so that is probably what the driver said he was doing. He was probably going a lot faster trying to jump a wake BONEHEAD
