I'm out if they strike...I'll never attend another game...I hope the rest of the fans do the same...it's time we started to show these players who REALLY pays their inflated salaries.
I hate to be negative as well, but there is something seriously wrong with this country when a baseball player makes 20 million dollars a year to play a kid's game...and the poeple who actually contribute to society by looking for cures to cancer and AIDS are paid a fraction of a fraction of that 20 million
I'll come down off my soap box now and return to my $10/hr job.

If you think about it - this is really a shame. What happened to "Playing the Game". Somewhere the players and owners have lost the love for the game. They all have a love for the business now. How can ANY athlete think they are worth the kind of money that baseball players make. I just read an article on ESPN.com that Alex Rodriguez will loose 114K a day during the strike. The salaries are too disproportional.
Baseball should take a step backwards about 25 years, back when it really was played as a game.
The fans should rally together and strike baseball. Wouldn't it be a turn of events to see some fans at the stadiums with picket signs?

Tommy Lasorda, Dodger manager, asked what terms Mexican-born pitching sensation Fernando Valenzuela might settle for in his upcoming contract negotiations: "He wants Texas back." 1981.

F^@K THOSE WHINING SACKS OF ****!!! I work my a$$ off and cannot even pay my bills, and those primadonna pieces of **** want more money!?!? I hope they all sytrike and lose their jobs, if that's what you call what they do. Anyone who continues to follow or support this sport is a damn fool. You're just helping support their whiny a$$es!
Next time I'll really tell you how I feel.
