the black "Ferrari" was Vette all the way, the company who offered the package as a turn key or you buy the kit, McBurnie was the company if i remeber right, any way it was a "lawsuit" car and Ferrari didn't like it being showcased on Miami Vice.

part of the settelement was that the Black Vette/Ferrari be destroyed (remeber it was blow up by a hand held rocket launcher in one show) and the producers of Miama Vice purchase a Testarosa to replace it for thew duration of the show.

I loved the show as much as the next guy, but you guys are startin' to scare me!!

*how 'bout the episode when Crockett gets blown-up on the sportfish, and the bad-guy (Huggy Bear of Starsky & Hutch fame) escapes on a 22' Velocity!!
