I certainly don't expect it to be as easy to clean as the fiberglass floor is... How does it handle normal foot traffic bare foot and maybe even non-skid shoes. Normal sand and dirt? How about an accidental grease/oil stain? We use the boat basically as pleasure, no fishing, and do a lot of in and out when at the beach.......

The pic is just one I found on the internet as an example...

I do not allow shoes on the boat, and usually make everyone wash their feet when they get on. Oil stains it but it comes out eventually. Sand and dirt wash right off, as does bird poop. We boat almost every weekend and lots of Bahamas, trips, lots or people on board, also plenty of fishing, and it has held up well blood washes right off.

Are you sure it is the same material? SeaDek is closed cell foam and can't absorb water. That's the basic premise why I even chose it. I don't think anyone would want a big sponge on thier entire floor.

Tyler will travel and seems to be up and down the East coast on a regular basis. I would give him a call and see if he is doing a job near you. I'm in Maine. Probably can't too much further away from him to begin with. I would front the cost of a plane ticket on a big future project, that is how much of a difference I think having it professionally measured would make. I have a no shoes policy as well and it looks about the same as the day it was installed. Nothing but compliments on it and people love the squishy feeling under thier feet. Infants and children completely benefit from this because you just turned your floor into a playpen. At least that is how it has played out on our boat.

ICDEDPPL is your platform tubular? If so it should be pretty simple to measure. It would be a bunch of indivudal strips. The perimeter I think would be tricky. That might be where the template kit would help alot.

I have no desire to have carpet.. Had a snap in carpet on my previous 3 boats. Took it out on all 3 and never used it....... Plus I am wanting to go with the teak look for my CC.

The kit they send will prob work on that... After seeing everything you have done I think you can do it.

Have it sprayed with high pressure bed liner coating. Then paint over the coating.

Will the computer program that cut that transfer to another that can cut the material ?

If it was CNC'd, then yes I imagine so. Probably won't be a direct thing, but need some tweaking. Would be a great place to start though.
