You're right. I edited it. It would have been too difficult to go back and find all the actual words of wisdom. Carry on! lol

Someone changed the thread title.

I was making a thread for crazy tech advice bgiven throughout all of internet land...not OSO.

Please read my first post.

I thought it would be funny as it would be outside of OSO.

Oh well, guess a Mod thought different.

I put it back as you had originally posted. Sorry to have misunderstood your intention.

It's okay. Not gonna ruin me. What's done is done.

Got more 'traction' how you did it.

You can let it roll.

I want to poke my eye out everytime someone claims an engine needs back pressure. Not sure I've seen that here though.

I still get those calls at work. Ugggg. Especially the EFI guys with very low hp older factory EFI motors. Freakin kills me I have to answer seriously.

I think a few guys heard my pupils splatter as I jabbed a pencil thru them. I told them I just dropped an egg.

Well, I knew I'd find one fast. And I did.

Heres one from a Tacoma Forum:

back pressure is torque, most if not all aftermarket mufflers(exhaust) is less back pressure and thats how they give you the gains(more top end)
you loose low end for the gain of top end.

people think its faster cause of the increased noise but in fact its slower in the quarter mile then stock(99% of the time)
