When I was looking I kept going back and forth between t/s and a big powered straight bottom. I was actually interested in cigrocket's old top gun, and just love the lines of the older straight bottom. In the end though, i just don't think you can beat going 85 with stock mild na power.

You are correct, my straight bottom was awesome and you couldn't beat the ride, the cabin and the fact that everything was redone and it ran in the mid 90's with very little boost 3A drives. Could have easily added a little boost and run 100+. However now I run upper 85+ on slightly warmed up 500efi's. The fuel economy is unreal. Nobody can Knock a "Better Bottom" LOL... I posted 1

Did you dyno the engines?

At least your slip numbers make sense. I see some guys post speed numbers up, where its physically impossible to do. Like running 90mph with 26p props and 1.5 ratio drives, at 5400rpm. It cant be done.

I have build sheets from motors claiming 750hp. I can just work backwards LOL with GPS posted numbers and running it. 5 blades a little tall for top speed but I have seen 80 prior to rebuilding carbs.

ok different price point than op's question but look what you get for the $... a lotta of boat for 54k!
Offer 50 including the matching jet ski :)

Nope - 50 ain't happening. At 54k, I just need a yes or a no.:flag:

My ski can be bought but it's not a deal maker.

That's moving. I believe rebarboxs cafe with 750hp brad smith engines and #3's runs 80-82. But that's freshwater .

82 is the best my boat has seen.
