1994 TG with 572CI true 700HP, TRS Huber 900's. 28P 4 blade bravo 1 props. In right conditions, IE wave height, current, fuel load, ect, all things being in line, we have seen 82 on GPS. Its a little nerve racking at 5500 RPM, LOL, engines are screaming pretty good, but it has definitely happened .....and more than once at that!

I agree it can happen, but many guys act like its ALL THE time and easily..... needs to be PERFECT conditions.
more often than not, its 78-79 any day |
Just so we are clear, My post wasn't aimed at Cigs , its all brands.
I can see a older Top Gun doing 80mph with 700's and bravos. |
The guy who I got my cafe from still has a trophy from poker runs America Georgian bay radar run around 1996 for fastest boat at either 87 or 89mph. I'll get him to send me a pic of it to post. Now it's radar and not GPS but that was hauling azz for a old boat. As said, 91 Cafe, 750 Hawks and #3's. Bought from Phil in 1994 or 5. Guy actually traded in 2 nice Harley's on it and I believe Phil still has one from the deal.
