metal siding inside looked good in a shop I was in recently, race car fab shop so lots of cutting and welding. Seemed to be holding up very well

Heck of a lot lighter if you plan to move it although more costly upfront I believe. (metal)
Looks nice. I'm getting ready to put a pole building, having some sticker shock. Lol |

Yeah I was dreaming big 40 x 48, 25 for insulated shell, add doors, floor, electric, and ouch!

The last time I checked the http://www.nationalbarn.com/ website; they had 40x80 specials for what I paid for my 30x60 several years ago.
http://www.pioneerpolebuildings.com/ is who built mine, and I beat them down to meet NationalBarn's price. The nice thing about a pole barn construction is you can pace your investment. I did a lot of the site work myself, but hired a contractor to level the site and fill it in (ground was swampy). I had Pioneer build the barn turnkey. I sourced and had the garage doors installed locally. I went back and had a buddy/OSO member pour the concrete a few years later. I did all of the nearly all of the electrical work myself including trenching the supply line from the house 800 feet (with a borrowed skid-steer and rented trencher implement). |
