I have had my fair share of run ins with the law. BUT in every instance I never resisted or was not polite . Never once was I shot or choked to death. This may me excessive use of force on the cops but it is not racially motivated by any means. The law says that when a cop is apprehending a perpetrator they are allowed to use as much force necessary to obtain this person.......therefore don't resist . I know it sucks that they have that god mentality but there is nothing that anyone is going to do about it by resisting arrest .

I know this is a threat to vent. But maybe some pragmatic thought is warranted. Regardless of the issue, there are people who view their own side as righteous and the other as problematic. Reality is that this country is a melting pot of differing views which have aligned themselves closely on polar ends of many debates.

We aren't going to see perfect harmony with this construct. We aren't going to deport opposition. And we aren't going to anything that resembles a unified population without some authoritarian leadership. Since we all agree that is not a good option, we need to recognize that people will always have differences AND issues will lead to conflict. But it is highly unlikely that conflict within the US borders will actually lead to major civil war.

We are comforted knowing we have the right to protect ourselves and our interests. (I certainly do).

But let's be realistic that this is not likely to be the beginning of come socialist liberal overthrow of the US. It is a typical ground-swell movement that requires attention from our leaders and some kind of resolution that appeases.

What would things be like if they weren't around, think about that, think there's a lot of murders in Chicago now, if not for the cops they couldn't bring enough body bags...................hey, would you do the job.

Off my soap box.
I have a very close cop friend for 20 years, an officer we met while boating. He has a Formula 353 and a fine even decent fun loving personality off duty. But on duty he is quite different. He says if I don't keep this personality my life is in danger. People don't respect cops if they don't act authoritative and my friend does not do this for his ego.

One of those days I need to find a way to take out my hostilities without customers/vendors seeing it.

"Pissed Off and Mad About It !"

Turn your volume all the way to the right until the volume knob breaks off, and then throw that at a window. LOL.

LOL.

Maybe this vid I made 6yrs ago will be better for you. Old school real pissed off song.

Anyway, I was having a super hard day with some suppliers who couldn't give a schit about me and my customers - which i take very hard - and decided to jump on my sled and keep the throttle to the bars for about 8-9 miles each way. I have a winter 'super highway' down a big portion of the lake that starts right near me. I believe I topped out around 38mph on this ride. See the ice houses (fishing) pass by...LOL.

My poor POS sled - but it made it. Obviously I was in the mood to break it,,,,and i would have been fine with that right then. I tend to take agression out on my mechanical things instead of other things. Best/worst case scenario is I have one hell of a ride - if I make it back.

I drove right back into work and feal good for the rest of the day.

See I knew it - try that Pantera song at full volume across 3-4 footers at 140 mph.
