Anyway, I was having a super hard day with some suppliers who couldn't give a schit about me and my customers - which i take very hard - and decided to jump on my sled and keep the throttle to the bars for about 8-9 miles each way. I have a winter 'super highway' down a big portion of the lake that starts right near me. I believe I topped out around 38mph on this ride. :wink: See the ice houses (fishing) pass by...LOL.
My poor POS sled - but it made it. Obviously I was in the mood to break it,,,,and i would have been fine with that right then. I tend to take agression out on my mechanical things instead of other things. Best/worst case scenario is I have one hell of a ride - if I make it back.
I drove right back into work and feal good for the rest of the day.

well i ve been a dick right back at the dick cops . yes put me in the slammer .. a few times quite frankly ... i treat people the way i get treated ... i dont care if ther the pope .. i guess i have it comming ... my lawer throws them charges out of court every time .. i once last year had a cop i knew from area . first thing he said to me was are going to do this the easy way or the hard way .. we did it the hard way just cause he was a prick .. yes i went to jail for the nite . got my free meal .. i wont let some cops stomp on my rights ill go to jail first . and fight ot out at court .. but they know how its going to go before they come to my house ..

I know this is a threat to vent. But maybe some pragmatic thought is warranted. Regardless of the issue, there are people who view their own side as righteous and the other as problematic. Reality is that this country is a melting pot of differing views which have aligned themselves closely on polar ends of many debates.
We aren't going to see perfect harmony with this construct. We aren't going to deport opposition. And we aren't going to anything that resembles a unified population without some authoritarian leadership. Since we all agree that is not a good option, we need to recognize that people will always have differences AND issues will lead to conflict. But it is highly unlikely that conflict within the US borders will actually lead to major civil war.
We are comforted knowing we have the right to protect ourselves and our interests. (I certainly do).
But let's be realistic that this is not likely to be the beginning of come socialist liberal overthrow of the US. It is a typical ground-swell movement that requires attention from our leaders and some kind of resolution that appeases.

Really well said but you forgot that most are not on one side or another but are in the middle most of the time. Reds and Blues think the other side is nuts but the center thinks they are both too radical. Need a third party that puts the country first not self serving agendas like lunatic cops or welfare grabbing thugs
In the USA we like thugs and cops beating the crap out of them. We even have a tv program (Cops) so we can regularly watch it. Carry on...
