I believe 16 weeks or 4mos is pretty typical for a build, that's been my experience.
Nor-Tech just added another spray booth and built a 50,000sq ft building they plan to move all rigging to.
Main facility will handle lamination and paint.

We can compare notes since I've held a production slot since Feb (Miami Boat Show) that SportBoats Marine actually secured prior then put my name on it. I believe it's only a week or 2 out from going in the mold. Not knowing when SportBoats reserved the production date and assuming this boat completes right around the end of the year or first of next year, that's nearly 1 yr from the time the production slot was committed to.

Headed down to Nor-Tech in 2 wks to review the build.

Just read the entire thread from start to finish. Thank you for sharing your entire experience with both builds. Really informative and gives those that haven't built a boat with Nor-Tech an insight to their process.

pmanpop- Now that was a commitment in both your time & attn span.
Maybe I need to create a CliffNotes post summarizing everything.
I'm thinking the pictures are what most want to see.

Thanks for the kind words.

I think they are all pretty great. From what I can tell you typically go for pretty neutral color ways? Surprised at the 2nd choice with the red accent- but I'm digging it. Im planning on working an accent into the hard top too. That being said. Im a fan of Duex and the red. Maybe even a nice red "R" if you go for the 400's in addition to the black mercury!

I prefer clean contrasting colors but also try to select timeless color combos that won’t impact me at time of resale. So far I’m 2 for 2.

No 1 would be cool with a silver boot stripe. All 3 are nice though.

I like #1 although I think it resembles a Cig CC Scheme too much. Tough to do much w/ a NT Hull bc the hullsides are much shorter & allot of the hull is below the water when the boat is not moving so IMO your paint scheme has 2 different looks running and floating.

I like red 😁

Call me surprised :party-smiley-004:
Your the only NT owner I know, willing to go where no other NT owner is when it comes to graphics / paint and I commend you for that.
I'm surprised more don't follow your lead especially since you've done so w/ 2 consecutive builds.:ernaehrung004:
