I don't need to talk ... I know.. Not my first time at the rodeo ...I guess both cms boats didn't have issues in key west... How many spares do they keep on the truck? If you get 100 hrs you shouldn't need truck load of spares.

dont let this slide into a pissing match, let's appreciate this motor (and the people prepared to run them) for what it is, a badass piece of engineering that is pushing the envelope.

Screw the 1650s!! That's not what these engines should really even be compared to. I'm comparing them to the likes of the engines in Predator 40 Skater and the 2 200 mph 388s that are out there. Those things make way more power than the Mercs and Mercs run on 116, which is no where near as good as E85! Now these engines Bill has, should be able to make that kind of power on pump (1900) that is what we want to see. I promise you all these things will blow those Merc 1650s away. There is a cool article on PBN about what GM engineers say about Mercury! You all should read it. Bottom line is- Merc hasn't done anything innovative with those engines. Mercury built the LT5 engine for the C4 ZR1. My father had one. Was a 4 cam 32 Valve engine. Bottom line is they are all good in their own way. Some like Turbos & DOHC, others like this Goodwin type stuff.

Love the motor, starting at $320K for the pair, GATORONE (Mr. Plyburn) I have been attorney now for eight years and had been a sales manager/sales representative for 17 years. I need to work for you, then maybe I could afford one these motors, and dream about owning a second motor at a later date. You always have the coolest boats, keep OSO updated, I am know I am not the only guy on here who likes reading about your boats...

Cool project that I am really interested to see and here more once you start running them in the boat. When do you anticipate the boat being done. Hopefully they perform as good as they look!!!
