I may need to borrow time in your new boatcave Ron for a re rig , the extra weight and added hp might be a really good thing for the 36,
I'm assuming that mercury racing would be underestimating their hp rating like they have in the past with the 280's
Any speculation on pricing yet?

Would you do triples on your 36?

I would guess somewhere between mid 30;'s to as much as low 40's. This is based on 350 verado pricing. Also the million dollar question is how much warranty for that kind of Jack?
Only if I get to sea trial and break in the engines LOL!!!!
Bring it.

.

JacosMarine pricing on the Verado Racing 350 SCi is $22K.

The non-race fish motor Verado 300 is $18K

I'm guessing the Verado SCi R 400Hp will be around $27K (Jacos' price)

.

I can't wait. Not because I'm buying one, that motor is way out of my budget and too much for my resin bucket... But somebody, somewhere is going to cut a good deal on a used 300XS or 300 Verado after their 400 re-rig.
