Hey I will call you tomorrow. I am the Director of the TN Powerboat Club. I was good friends with Carey and also knew Marsha and the entire Pier57 crew! I am sure we can put something together and I will gladly use our non-profit umbrella to put the event together and my team here in Nashville will do whatever is necessary to make this happen. I am heading down to the Miami Boat Show in a couple weeks with several other customers from Pier57 and I will probably see David and his crew. Let's get a plan together and I can talk with him.

I will also talk with Scott and see what his thoughts are while I am down at the Mystic booth. I am sure we can put something together that will honor such a fantastic member of our Powerboat Family!!

I can use the TPC Facebook page for the event and I will call you in the AM

I talked to david a couple of weeks after the accident and he said he wanted to put on a big run around the time of the annual pickwick poker run and get some big boats there. Pickwick is my home lake and hung out with carey every weekend on the water he was in town. All the powerboats at pickwick will participate in this as we were all friends with carey and/or Jeremy. Anything you need from us or help let us know and we will do our best to make it happen. I know we are all looking forward to doing some sort of tribute for them as we sat 200 ft from where the accident happened the next morning on the water labor day weekend.

I know that with everyone's support we will make it happen. If you are around this weekend you are more than welcome to join in the conversation with me, David, Marsha, and whoever.
Thanks for the offer, I will definitely need your assistance.

I know a lot of great people are going to jump in with both feet. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to meet some great people and put together an event everyone will be proud of.

Robert, just say this. Awesome idea!!! As this is my home lake I will definitely be attending. Not sure what format you are looking to do but we should consider a run down to Florence for lunch. They have a great restaurant on the water with a lot of room to tie up boats. I live in Nashville but willing to help where I can. You got my number.

Thanks, sounds like a good idea. I will know more after the weekend after talking with Marsha and David. I really appreciate all the kind words and support and I know they do also.

We will be meeting this Sunday 12 noon at Freddy t's. I know there are a couple of people who may want to attend so I am inviting anyone who can make it that feel they can add to the discussion or planning. If you have any questions please call or email me.
