Ok, I'm back from Mexico and communicated with Marsha so here's the latest. Davis has spoken with Darryl Worley and the Concert, Poker run and Raft up will start Saturday August 15th. Again this is in the beginning stages so not much else to report but I should have more information soon. Please put it on your TO DO LIST or if you can't make it a donation would be great, so get ready to get the credit card out.

I like the date and I'm looking forward to it.

So they are doing it during the annual Tennessee river run that they do every year. Good cause, but the poker run is not much of a poker run.

Hopefully that's about to change.

Still putting everything together also have unanswered questions concerning activity schedules. David and Marsha are running this and I'm in the background when needed. We decided the familys will have control of this, so whatever they want this to look like I will help make it happen however I can. I will have more to report as it becomes clearer.

Just talked to Marsha and she said David has been in contact with several organizations and businesses such as Mercury Racing, Cigarette Racing, Powerboat Nation, ect and they expect them to make a showing. I will be going to Pickwick on the 28th to see how the weekend will be planned out (August 14th thru 16th). It looks like this is turning into a great event beyond my expectations so look for more information as is becomes available. Thanks to everyone envolved

I will actually be down there on the 28th as well to do some things to the boat so if you don't mind I would like to sit in and give my input as well and join in the community of fun.
