Perhaps shoddy building practices, and lack of signage could be the culprit here.

Not only did they use the door, they put the ladder down as well, which looks to be the perfect size for a beach landing...

FWIW, according to local news boat was operated by a "Licensed and Insured Captain with 20 years experience" and "No alcohol involved".

Wildlife officers are so smart....His qoute makes no sense...I understand what he meant, but how he stated it makes it seems like you should pay attention to where you are going after you hit the beach..

Officials say they are not sure how fast the boat was going.

"We're still determining at what speed, or attempting to determine what speed it was going, because there are possible charges regarding unsafe speed for conditions, improper lookout, that sort of thing," Florida Fish and Wildlife spokesperson Baryl Martin said. "Any time you strike a beach, you should be paying attention to where you're going."
