Hijacked? I said three words "don't finance toys"
Taking a note on a depreciating asset is a joke. Many people will owe more than the boat is worth with in the first 7 years of ownership.
I stated my opinion and that's all.
Let it go. winter is almost over.

Way to drive away newbies?
Anybody who owns a boat knows that buying a boat is the cheapest part of owning a boat.

Just stating my opinion

Can't beleive anybody gives a $hit about my opinions.

Carry on with the bashing. It's quite amusing.

I don't think anyone was looking for your opinions....

He was just looking for financing options that's all...not to be told to not finance his toys.

I am sure that you are so wealthy that you have never had to finance anything....?

While you think that might of been a good place to give your opinion I beg to differ.

Ok "extras"..
Then just drive to my house and either punch me in the face, or hug me and kiss my cheek.
None of my comments were directed at you personally, so chill.
I've seen WAY to many legit threads go to doody based on a simple newbies looking for help and seeing "pros" rip them to bits.

Ive seen way more times advice to buy more than the op is looking for because bigger is better.
if it's beyond the budget, that is not a good thing, nor what the poster is asking about.

What the fu<k is wrong with you guys? I only gave my opinion.
That's great advice but he didn't ask for anyone's "opinions" on the merits of financing or not.
