Depends on what you call cheap.

Over on this side of the country, I believe DonziMatt has a sweet low hr 383 with AFR heads for sale.

Pretty sure my firing order goes with this '86 350 in question. Thus why I didn't give the firing order for Fords, Mopars........ stay on track.

Thats the ticket, afr heads are nice, u. Can run more comp with alum heads and beat on it harder, plus it will have a marine cam grind in it... which wl save u the time and money of buying and swapping cams. if u buy a hipo car motor which its almost always gonna have too much cam for a marine app... rm

Heres another tip, sell ur old motor on ebay in parts, block, crank, pitons and rods, break it all down it will bring a lot more coin that way to help pay for a much more manly engine package...rm

Stay with the small block dude, it isnt worth the coin with what u have to go nuts putting a bbc in it, you would have to buy tons of new stuff, a 383 will feel like a bbc after what ur pulling out of it!
