Default 38' PowerQuest w/1100's and #6's

Theoretically speaking, if the opportunity came up to put 1100's and #6's in a 38' PQ, could it be done?

The ultimate sleeper project.

Not for nothing, but the motors would be worth way more than the boat.

http://youtu.be/00ZI75CWml4 Already done... Kinda...

1101+ (some will get that) per side in a 43 black thunder. Coolerman on here can elaborate. You don't hear the muffled exhaust, you just hear the PSI blowers whining as the engines turn over 7k. Next to the wife, one of the most impressive rides of my life.

I would love to own a 38 pq or 43 BT one day with about 1000 HP/side. Who wouldn't love a 100 mph condo?

Not sure that is the fastest hull to start with nor is it a "floating condo" compared to a Black Thunder, 43 or 50 NT.......In the end you would be selling the power for 60% of what is is worth and throwing the boat in for free! Look at the beautiful 46 Skater (TomCat)with fresh 1350's, the driveline is almost the asking price of the whole boat!

Save the stock power and drives. Use imco drives so you can switch back.
