Having owned one that would've been awesome to have other than the snaps. If you could strap it on some how it would've made the boat much more comfortable. Maybe just use the snaps on the front where the cock pit cover snapped and a strap to the bow eye to hold it in front.

Probably easier to store at least. I'd never drive with the pad on and have no clue where you'd store it. My classic was extremely fun but has to be one of the least practical boats ever made.
