It seems as if the $10k and less boats sit forever. The guy looking at $7500-10000 boats wants the boat for $3000 because that's all he has. The $10-25k range, the boats seem to move fast if they are clean. My buddy has a 40 outlaw with 900sc and #6s for 100k that he is sitting on. He has had 3 interested but no sale in 1 yr

bajas are popular at the lower end. Your buddy would have been better off putting that power in a cig or any other high end brand. The higher end shoppers are more brand conscious.

I am getting a lot of calls and showings with the most recent price drop but like I was saying.

You get into the $50k+ area (exclude high end boats) and you get a area where a bank might not loan cause of year (most are early 2000's or late 90's) so you need someone with the cash on hand just about and that really thins out buyers.

And if the have 50k cash they are looking at 80-100k newer boats.

Rough market. Almost want to say screw it and keep or dump it for a low price.

.
But do you really think the boat appreciated 50% in 15 months?

Not sure where you got that number but always seem to chime and I think you fail to take into account my boat had no trailer when I bought it. After having one made and what I got it for (stole it IMO) I am pretty much at a break even at the current price or even at a loss with the upkeep and work done on it.

Add in storage cost and tres's class and I am well at a loss.

This one isn't helping you, only 2 years older, less hours, fresh water and 15k less

100% aware but mine at $69,995 has finally got buzz. I feel that guys boat is priced SUPER low so unless in person there is something wrong with it then I have no idea why it is still for sale and not sold.

I feel mine with a new trailer, paint that seems to appeal to more, duel GPS, Premium JL sound, and a few years newer is priced good now.

There is always a deal to be had out there and his price is a good deal.

You think the storage expenses and training you took somehow add value to your boat?
