had a 91 290 PQ one of the best boats ive owned. 91 is a good yr, they started cheapening them up in later yrs to compete with the cheaper boats.

Those Bajas are on a 21 or 22 degree deadrise. They run pretty fast for the amount of power they have. On the flip side they are a 21-22 degree X 9ft beam hull, they ride a bit rougher than a 24 degree hull. I like them for an older boat.

I always thought the Baja Sport models had the 24* bottom, while the Force, DVX, Islander, etc., had the 22.

I noticed that also. Why even mention the props. Wonder how it runs with a tunnel ram.

I will tell you this that Baja is a quick hull, but it will not ride very well, my buddy had one alotta first hand knowledge, his may have been a 94, but there is a ton of cuddy room, However For that kinda budget and size, I know of a very nice Formula 303 that is for sale, owner is on his way home now with a 382, If you like Formula anyway, I'd say the PQ and Formula are very similar in quality from that era

I am interested in Formulas....I only pointed out the Baja and PQ because they are local to me.
303's/311's are hard to come by. Definitely more 272's/292's out there.
