The less "shore" I see the better, that`s why ROTO isn`t for me, too much river boating, too much shore.
I like Lake Michigan, it`s like a box of Chocolates, you never know what you gonna get.

You mean chasing down cruiser wakes on a 10,000 acre lake for photo op's, isnt offshore boating?? Jumping a wake doesn't tell us how your boat handles rough water. Aren't those also the guys who run 800HP thru Bravos and TRS, and tell the world how great they are? Or how their boat has zero stress cracks and its built like a tank? Or how their 26ft boat runs with 40 footers in rough water?

I say, bring that fuker offshore, and watch those drives snap like pretzels, and stress cracks spread like cancer. If you're running along side a pontoons at 50mph every weekend, you're not an offshore boater. :party-smiley-004:

Have boated and Racing in the Atlantic off of NJ, Long Island, Lake Erie and Michigan and Now in the Gulf of Mexico in Florida.

With the exception of the Great Lakes, I think most "offshore boats" are overkill on lakes. Everyone one wants to be the "big fish"on the little lake.
