While I certainly don't claim to know or be closer to Jo, Pepe or anyone of the Nunez family than any of you, I too am a former Pantera owner. As many of you have shared here in this thread, like you once I got to know them it's like I became a part of the family. We've remained friends & kept in touch for some 10+ yrs now. I've spoken to Jo, Pepe & young Joey several times throughout this battle. It's been extremely hard on all of them.
Pepe reached out to me earlier today sharing that they have laid Jo to rest. This was probably the most difficult thing Pepe has ever had to do. I encouraged him to get on OSO when the time is right & read the great things fellow OSO'rs are saying about his son b/c I know he will be so very proud.
Pepe asked me to tell you that he appreciates all the kind words, the thoughts & prayers for the family & in due time I have confidence that he will thank you himself.
When we lost Jo the family not only lost a loving husband, they lost a son any father would be proud of and a great father who has been grooming and mentoring his son since the day he was born.
Thoughts & Prayers!!

My condolences to the Nunez family. Had some dealings with Jo and Pepe it must be very difficult. I wish everyone the best. Most of my conversations were with Jo and I loved to talk with him. He would always take the time for me. We lost a very good man.
