Hello all.....

new updates....

I am doing good so far....Last week was crazy but scary. Last Monday I took my 10 years old daughter to Urgenet Care after seeing her face pale after she threw up a couple times. Turned out that her blood sugar was 504 as a result of DKA (Diabetes Ketonesis Acideosis), had to call ambulance to transfer her to ER. so took her to ER, it was 520, put her on IV and admitted her to ICU. my girlfriend stayed the night with her for me. didnt sleep well that night at home and had very uncomfortable pains in my shoulders on Tuesday morning but had patient with it as my daughter is number one most important. she got better then moved her out of ICU to general floor until she got discharged last Thursday night. Everything is ok. I received an email saying that transplant team is in process to schedule a surgery so it might happen this early fall.

Hi Chris!

Sorry to hear about your daughter but glad to hear that she was discharged and doing better. Glad to also hear that your are doing OK and that it looks like a Fall operation for you. I know its hard but keep up that positive attitude that you have and will continue to Pray for all of you. Andy.

Hey Chris,

I'm just seeing this thread. I've been type 1 since I was 5 years old. I've had it for 30 years. I hope everything works out and you keep fighting to get through this. Prayers are with you.

Thank you Sleev-jes!!!!!

I had a great time at St Clair for OPA boat racing and it helped me get it off my mind. A huge thank you goes to Tony Moncantonio for driving up here from Oho just to see me and see how I was doing. Feel free to ask him how I am doing. He was so happy to see me. I was so happy to see him. Tony and I have been very very very close friends for years.....

New update......
received an email from transplant team at the hospital. and expected to have surgery next month but not set up exact date yet. will keep you all up to date...If I don't.....ask Tony of JD BIYRIDER Racing.

Thank you all!

Hi Chris!

Glad to hear that things are going well for you and that you got to see Tony Moncantonio of JD BIYRIDER Racing. Tony is a great guy and I really miss seeing him at St. Clair, one of the real good guys I've had the pleasure to met there. Sorry we didn't bump into each other, I was under the Canopy at the Voyageur. Maybe we will see each other at Port Huron/Sarnia International Powerboat Race. Andy

That sounds like some good news. I'm sure you are anxious and nervous at the same time. I'll check in for updates. Wishing you the best, brother!

I will be at Port Huron this Sunday for OPA race so I can have good times.

I have review and physical review on August 24th and if everything goes well. then It's a go for surgery on Sept 7th so I am pretty nervous but staying positive. My mom will be giving my her kidney So please continue praying for me to get this over with. What worry me the most is that doctor will put catheter through my dick during surgery and then if all goes well, it will be rain when removing out of my dick.....Oh jesus! this part gotta be ****ting me.....
