Cumberland in September
#4
Nordic Gary,
There will be four boats heading down to the Jamestown area on Friday. Put in at the State Dock and then we are rafting up to a Houseboat for the weekend. We will be in Pumkin Creek and Lilly Creek with the houseboat for the weekend.
I agree. I think September is one of the best times for Cumberland. Trees are turning and not many people around too!
When you say N docks, is that the location of your slip? Maybe we could stop by and have a drink together?

From: Kentucky - where the women are so fast we have to put a governor on 'em!!
I know that is getting pretty late in the season, but cpqtim & I will be down there with some friends the weekend of Oct 5/6. We will be staying in some cabins on the north end of the lake near Conley Bottoms, but we plan to venture southward towards the dam, little falls, etc., at least some of the time. Any OSO'ers planning to be down there for one last fling that weekend?
