Well, from what I read he skipped town without paying employees so I'm guessing they're not very happy with him either.

Putting the stories together, and I believe the boat was sold/stolen over a year ago, and may have gone to the Sacramento California area. Some stories mention it being wrecked in a road accident, while another has it seized in a drug bust.
I'm am not sure how true this is, but about a year ago Tim had mentioned a african american buyer from the Sacramento area. He told me the deal fell thru, but this may not be the case.
That being said, anyone remember hearing anything like this in that area.

Thanks

Here is the bad news if you lost a boat to this a'hole and want to claim it stolen to the INS company.

Take it from the guy that got ripped off TWICE by shady dealers.

I think you have to have other coverage added to your policy such as "Trick and Deceit" to cover that sort of thing.

Interesting. For some reason this is kind of ringing a bell for me. Let me ask around with some people I know. There's not many boats like that here in Sac so if it is here it will stick out.

Good luck with getting your boat back Don. This is Lance, I had (just sold) a 28 Skater. We ran a lot of poker runs together when there used to be more up here. Coincidentally a buddies dad has your old flame F-650 here in Gig Harbor.
