OG Outlaw:
If it's the one with bottom paint you've got many, many, many hours of wet sanding and buffing ahead of you. Don't worry though, it can be done.
My biggest worry, if this boat has been stored in the water, would be galvanic corrosion. Stainless steel, aluminum and stray current don't mix. Check the drives! They could be a corroded mess. Probably more hours than fixing the bottom.

OG,
Man, I hope you check out this boat before you sign the paperwork. I've been following this thread close. Sounds like a heck of deal...36' Outlaw for $65K?! Wow! Wish I could stumble across something like this. Heck finance some extra cash a put superchargers on it is my thought!!!! Now, the power is no issue.

BUT, I would heed the advice of some fellow members here that may know more about the boat than you. If you can come up with $10K for a deposit, why not have the boat surveyed too. This way, you will have a peace of mind about your purchase!
