Awesome! Sounds just like my Fountain, except I have two more motors and triple the noise.

No thanks.........I would die from the massive loss of blood from one head to another if I had 3 of those!

Mine actually isn't quite so bad at idle because they are under the swim platform but your ears do ring after awhile. I haven't stood behind it with all three running at the same time yet either. I have a few buddies that say it sounds wicked so I will go with that. Cool project. I know I would do a double take if your boat fired up next to me at the town dock. Cool.

The double takes ARE PRICELESS !

We are going to start a video catalog of them next week

Looks like you already met your goal stated earlier in this thread of 70+mph, congrats! Although, it looks like there may be more mph on the table. How deep is your drive? That is probably going to be your biggest limiting factor. Is the hydromotive prop you are planning to try a 4-blade?

I agree. I'm not sure any 4 blade will be faster than a 3 blade at the stock drive depth but you really don't know until you try it.

Yes. My buddy with the 93 271SR also has a deep drive set. We are going to measure both this week and get the difference if any. It's his prop that I'm using, He has had this prop on the boat with an 800HP Blower motor and now on a 600HP 496
The man LOVES this prop. Gonna have to sign over the wife while I borrow it..........lol

Gotta help on the slip, dont you think? Its like driving a car with a bad tranny. Catches and goes, then slips, then catches. After the boat gets above 65 the slip is not as noticable.
Main goal is to get engine RPMs past the peak of the torque curve and into the 5500 plus range
