Mine actually isn't quite so bad at idle because they are under the swim platform but your ears do ring after awhile. I haven't stood behind it with all three running at the same time yet either. I have a few buddies that say it sounds wicked so I will go with that. Cool project. I know I would do a double take if your boat fired up next to me at the town dock. Cool.

Looks like you already met your goal stated earlier in this thread of 70+mph, congrats! Although, it looks like there may be more mph on the table. How deep is your drive? That is probably going to be your biggest limiting factor. Is the hydromotive prop you are planning to try a 4-blade?

The man LOVES this prop. Gonna have to sign over the wife while I borrow it..........lol

Main goal is to get engine RPMs past the peak of the torque curve and into the 5500 plus range
