You cried when they got into turbines ,( no competition ,no competition ! )

So after clearing the field of those turbines who did try ,They went with big block gas engines.

Now after several years of STIFF competition ,they have hit a rough spot and now SOME of you are all ready to just throw ,em on the trash heap ?

Go get ,em Geico!!!

Do what you gotta do for next year.( call me if you need assistance )

There boat is built for rough water, there was none in Key West. They also seem to be having some motor issues

Doesn't matter how great a team is , they can only stay on top for so long .

Miss gieco blew a engine yesterday in engel wood. It seemed they lost one everyday in kW. They must have a batch of engines built on a Friday !

I spoke with Marc Granet late last week. Look for an article on this very subject next week.

I think its no different than in NASCAR - Geico was a stand alone team for a long time and then the pack caught up....Bob Bull invested strongly and hit the magic combination on crews, hulls and rigging/power/props to lay a spanking on the field in KW

Are they still running factory merc off the shelf 1650's (if you can call them that} or are they tweaking them or running something else entirely?

Be interesting to see what happens if when they get the newer/lighter Victory rigged, or if they will continue with that plan. There current boat has shown it doesn't accelerate with the lighter CMS boats and the wider tunnels both those hulls have, in the calm water.
