I recommend checking out the Kansas Aviation Museum. It's been a bit of a grassroots effort, but they've done a good job, IMO. Definitely a smaller scale than many others, but it gives a good feel for our aviation history here. It's located in the former airport terminal which has been restored. Art Deco design with some great history. One of the busiest airports in the country back in the 30's and 40's.

Wichita has plenty of bars and restaurants. Consider checking out Hangar One steakhouse for something local. Old Town has lots of restaurants and bars as well.
Stearman Field northeast of town in Benton is a cool restaurant/bar located on a small airport. They offer biplane rides in an old Stearman, but it may be too cold for that now. Roughly a half hour out of Wichita.
One of my personal favorite places to get away to is Beaumont, KS. There's a historic hotel/restaurant/cafe on the old Frisco rail line out in the Flint Hills. Small planes land on a grass strip east of town and taxi into town to park at the hotel. The owner restored the place in 2000 and has lots of aviation memorabilia on the walls. It's about 45 mins east of Wichita on 400.

You can find websites for all those places. Enjoy your stay.

OKC does have a Bricktown, but I won't claim it to be the only one.

Freedom (Jim): Checked out your facility on the website. It'd be worth a trip to Wichita just to tour your operation. Impressive.

Maybe you could do a BTK tour, thinking Wichita is as famous for that as anything. One sick, sick sum beach.
