No a friend of mine had it made .There is no alignment tool needed because when you bolt the block - trans assemble in , the front can only go in one place

Oh yea duh, forgot about the Transimsion. To many IPA's. I am done posting tonight.

We did the same thing. I think I still have the CAD of the hole pattern and shape of the extension box if anyone wants to make one. Once the holes were started with a smaller drill bit, we used a drill bushing welded onto a plate and used a locating pin to ensure each hole goes thru the transom exactly square. With the size of the studs Rik uses (5/8" diameter and 10 holes), its pretty important to be on the money inside the transom vs being the guy that needs to rat out the holes inside the boat.

The X dim. is set when you mount the lower point of the boxes 1/2 in above the bottom of the running surface of the hull in line of the of the boxes

No, they did a comparison w/ it somewhere against a 42 w/ merc 700/6's. The Merc boat was faster.

Probably due to the na ilmor not making the torque of a supercharged v8!
