Pretty crazy the fountain / outerlimits fastest v bottom rivalry is this close, especially with fountain not building boats for the last 8 years.

It's not close...OL shattered the record. What is there left for them to do. Beat there own record? Not to mention OL holds speed records at 29'.

Boat is 16yrs old, we have modified the bottom multiple times. Everything with the motors (except machine work) and dialing in has been done by us. i wouldn't say shattered ,ol ran a best of 181 oneway and fountain ran best of 177. oneway.

I think the motor's were melting on the way back not to mention that was over 10 yrs ago think about how far dependable horse power has come in the last 10 yrs
