Yep your exactly right limit switch puts it about 1/2 on the gauge !

Trimmed to high sometimes makes you feel like you are going faster because the boat is driving lot less lighter (ie:wetted) - this is why GPS will be your friend.

Being a beginned you are luckier that your boat is heavy, in learning trim. Some boats become too light (too little in water) and can become a handful when they dance around on there stern...causing potential bodily harm when the boat loses it.

Learn to drive your boat intimately, one step at a time. You need to respect it.Oh, and mother nature too. She can and will always be a whore.

I'm still a little surprised it took a bunch of boat people 6 pages to tell the guy he has a limit switch, use it....we FAIL ;)

LOL, so true, I guess this is a lesson! When asking the obvious question or suggesting anything, always start with "Silly question" or "I'm probably a "f$%king retard, but..." This will allow the other person to claim they have already tried that even though they haven't, thus allowing the other party to develop the solution on their own.
