Yep your exactly right limit switch puts it about 1/2 on the gauge !

Trimmed to high sometimes makes you feel like you are going faster because the boat is driving lot less lighter (ie:wetted) - this is why GPS will be your friend.
Being a beginned you are luckier that your boat is heavy, in learning trim. Some boats become too light (too little in water) and can become a handful when they dance around on there stern...causing potential bodily harm when the boat loses it. Learn to drive your boat intimately, one step at a time. You need to respect it.Oh, and mother nature too. She can and will always be a whore. |
I'm still a little surprised it took a bunch of boat people 6 pages to tell the guy he has a limit switch, use it....we FAIL ;)
