Nate- I have to say I wasn't aware Statement offered that option. I stand corrected!
There's no real right or wrong just different layout or configurations. Statements bow cabin seems to about eliminate the bow seating. Power lounger cool but not sure you could lay up there at speed like you can the helm loungers. I think NT does a good job utilizing the floor space wisely while also maximizing the seating. To me the front load head on the Statement pigeonholes the rest of the layout. It's a nice roomy head but when you take into consideration the amount of space it occupies & how it eliminates other bow seating configurations vs the amount of time spent in the head vs lounging in the bow area I think it's a limiting factor.

Just my $.02 from a guy that considered Sunsations, Cig's, Statements & Mystics before deciding on a Nor-tech.

I do agree there is no right or wrong with either boats. Everyone offers something a bit different then the other and it is nice to have the amount of choice each brand makes.

Am I partial to Statement cause Nick and the group...of course. That doesn't mean for one second though I will down play how great of a boat Cig, Sunsation, NT, Mystic, or anyone else is building cause they all make some GREAT boats. I do agree about the front load head but I am sure if that was a hang up it could be built around that.

All that said and money is no option.....I am getting a Huntress lol.

That being said Nick also can't say no to anything which in turn gets him into binds with projects and due dates. The punch list includes items that were changed from build process to lots of quality issues. The fiberglass had a few voids in the hull to the point I could stick the tip of my pinky finger in it. This is definitely not good. A handful of stress cracks in corners of compartments and doors.

The cuddy was not put together with the options and choices we agreed upon. Panels of interior of cuddy was fallen apart and down after my trip to key west in the first 10 hours. Compartments that opened did not fit well. Some rubbed and were bowed to were they didn't fit well. All the bilge pumps ran and burned up because all of the debris in the hull was never swept out which clogged the pumps up. Wow, this was fun to mess with all week long during key west trip. NOT. SeaDek sucks. IMO... The lines on mine didn't line up with compartments. But, it also stained up pretty bad after a few months. The material is soft and is easy to tear up. The areas exposed to sun faded pretty bad verses the areas that were NOT exposed. Stereo changes and brand was not installed per specs. Totally overlooked and already cut into the boat. Several other options not completed to contract. This pretty much sums it up. After several months of back and forth with an attorney things got resolved and the boat was sold to someone that was happy with it. Oh, I forgot my trip was delayed by a day because one of the Mercury Motors blew up. Mercury had a recall on like 14 motors and guess what 3 were on my boat painted to match. Nick scramble to get new ones from another sold boat they were not painted and swap them out. It was a true nightmare.

I wanted to keep this from public forum. But, everything is settled finally. The boat sold and most of the quality issues were addressed before new buyer took it.
That's crazy, I built 4 boats with them and have not had 1 issue whatsoever. Great guys and a great product

I have ordered and retail delivered several new Statements. All were delivered to us without issue and all had Sea Dek flooring. We liked the Sea Dek flooring so much we are now using it in new Cigarette Center consoles and have eliminated carpet in many large cruisers and many sport boats here at Lake of the Ozarks. Never seen it tear, stain or come unglued.

Statement builds a hell of a boat, Nick is a great guy, Craig has always delivered to us and our retail customers.

Lonseal cockpit flooring over fiberglass "unibody floor/cockpit" is usually installed when new, as well as floor drains that "self bail" the cockpit into the bilge. Then drop-in/snap-in carpet as optioned. But we've used a few other newer materials recently as well.

At 400K the fish had better jump in the boat, while drinking a cool beverage

Since there is not a single rod holder on the boat, I suspect that is the only way they are getting in.

Plenty of cup holders for that cold cocktail though
