You got it --- THE upper case is shorter on the ALPHA SS
The lower case is shorter on the BRAVO. I can't remember if their were any other mods that had to be done but it was doable for a lot less $$$.

Would you believe WHITEY bought the boat minus the engine and drive. He stole it. He says that he had almost as much fun with that boat as I did. He had it going in the mid 70's

Ben Hurr bought it and ran it on his boat for a few years. I dont know if he is still running it or even has it. I kept the motor for a few years to put in a pro street mustang but finally decided that it would never happen so a guy stole it from me and put it in HIS pro street car.

try http://www.konradmarine.com/ They make an Alpha ss replacemnt, that is stronger than the original.
