This really is sad to hear. Several occasions he took time out of his day to talk to me about my formula that he sold orginal, two owners ago. Last year the wife and i were walking down a dock a guy says to me, that is my favorite formula, shook my hand and remembered my name from only phone conversations, not every day does that happen, sor I took a few minutes and chatted with him about how the lake scene had changed from sport to sport. I should have taken more time. RIP magic float.

Well crap!!!! I wondered about him occassionally, he was the same age as my dad. We never met but I bought stuff for my 312 from him, then bought my 382 from him. Crazy old man helped me arrange for transport of that 382 to VA and when I tried to hand the driver the cashiers check he called Robert who said just mail it when you get a chance..WHAT! I FedEx ed it that day!

Very saddened by this news. He was a great man and asset to this forum. God bless his family. Rest in peace Mr Nelems. You will be missed by anyone that met you.

Sad to hear this news. I could tell from Robert's posts in the Formula section that he was a good and kind man. RIP.
