Tristan said we don't have a margarita recipe picked out yet so that would be important component of the project that is not covered yet.

We have a custom Black box system that will record the all the high def cameras for a week using solid state hard drives with a backup system.. It is rugged and waterproof. It also does the compressing of the video for the satellite uplink.

We needed to make a wedge adapter for the arneson so it would change the angle from the transom. We needed to space the drive out also for the steering cylinder to have room for the drive to be centered and the cylinder be in the middle of its stroke and not stick out past the side of the boat.
Here we machined one out of foam to check the size. I drilled the hole at the wrong location. Fiberglassed it back. Then machining one out of Aluminum.

In this photo you can see where the angle of the wedge makes the ball socket on the arneson more in line with the bottom of the boat so that the u-joint is not bent so far out for normal running. The drive is down as low as it will go.

Painting the parts, and 5200 the Arneson wedge stand off and the steering wedge to the transom. Another advantage to the standoff is I was able to make it wedge out to make a bigger footprint against the transom, and use bigger bolts for the standoff being bolted to the transom. By not through bolting the arneson through transom I do not have to worry about the drive coming loose from the transom due to compressing over time from the load and making the bolts become loose. The standoff is through bolted and glued permanently to the transom so it will never come off, then the drive is bolted to the standoff. And the same with the steering.

I drilled holes in the trim ram bolts to cotter pin them. And this bolt is for the steering ram, I could not find a bolt that fit it as tight as I wanted so I machined this bolt from a piece of stainless bar stock.
