Start to Finish: Building Our 50' Skater

Exhaust 2:
I found a pre-bent water hose at autozone that had the exact bends I needed to get from the heat exchanger to the exhaust.
We had a guy that does coatings on turbines put a coating on the exhaust up pipe so we would not have to water jacket it. I'm not sure what material is under the Inconel wrap but its thin and he says you will be able to touch it while it running and not get burned. If it actually works that good it is probably really bad for you and I will die of cancer next year from it, but I will not have any burns on me.

Exhaust 3:
The tail pipe is technically floating between the turbo up pipe and the tip on the transom, that way the silicone adapters will let the motor move on its rubber mounts and not break the exhaust off.

Promise to do my best to get a new guy to place his hand on a set of cherry red headers on the dyno engine turning 9000rpm +. If I'm really convincing he might let me video it.

The coating to my understanding goes on more like a cast where it's wet material you form on the part then it dries. It may be 1/8" to 1/4" thick. Then you put a shield outside of it so it does not wear, or break off.
Here are a couple text I received from them when they were coating it. These big words there using sound expensive.
Hi, hope everything is good! Received inco yesterday and tonight forming. Ceramic layer then titanium layer then inco. Shouldn't have heat issue. Talk soon,
Ceramic is cut in and shaped, titanium wrap is on. Inconel shielding I started to shape and cut in last week, probably spend a better part of this week shaping and tacking in place to seal it.
